- Python 2 support is going away soon: Make the move to Python 3
Python 2 - finally, over a decade after Python 3.0 was released - is finally being dropped out of support. If you are, somehow, amazingly still using Python 2 despite the years of protestations, won't you please - for the love of all that is holy - upgrade already?
- Rails 6.0 new framework defaults
What's new in Rails 6? If you just do an upgrade of your existing application with
rails app:update, you'll see some new default flags. And it's abouto time - finally, you can get rid of some weird IE5 compatibility hackery. ⛄

When Electron was released six years ago, it seemed insane. Taking a web browser and removing the browsing part, so that you could build a text editor? But it's great - and it's easy to get started using common frameworks like Vue.js to build a local application.
